Idea

We do choral experiements to see how we can sing together in different ways and improve our own voice. Let us surprise ourselves what we can create spontaneously. We also look at existing songs to integrate in our work and realise a live presentation and/or a fancy video clip. We may include:

• An improvisation made by ourselves
• A Brazilian masterpiece
• A famous pop/rock song
• A soundtrack medley
• An African folk song

Rehearsal

We rehearse on Saturday 22.7 from 13:00 to 18:00 in Grajau, making it a short and intensive project, a workshop with result to perform. It is required that you have time to attend completely so we can get a nice choral sound and an amazing result!

Presentation

We finish the project with a recording for Youtube.

Result

We were 3 singers performing improvised singing combined with some moving choreography.

Idea

• An improvisation made by ourselves
• A Peruvian masterpiece
• A famous pop/rock song
• A soundtrack medley
• An African folk song

Rehearsal

We rehearse every Tuesday and Friday in Miraflores from 19:45 to 21:30, starting from 21st of June 2016. As a new singer you can still participate in one rehearsal and see how you like it. If you catch up fast with our group's level of singing and decide to be part of the project, it is important that you then regularly come to our rehearsals so we can get a nice choral sound.

Presentation

Whenever we have something to present we do it right after a rehearsal in a popular place nearby. Our goal is to give a little concert in the second half of July.

Result

We were 3 singers performing a classic song of Latin America at Kennedy Park and taking the video on the coast of Lima, fitting the song's context perfectly.

Idea

We realise a choral flashmob by preparing 2 to 3 pieces to present them in different places in the city. This might include:

• A Costa Rican masterpiece
• An African folk song
• A soundtrack medley
• A famous pop song
• An improvisation made by ourselves

To get a good musical level, it is important that you take your time at least once a week for the rehearsal of about 2 hours (break included). Please also read about us to see if you share our common idea and requirements.

Rehearsal

We rehearse about 500 meters north of the campus of the UCR, normally on Friday at 16:00.

Presentation

Fr 19th Feb. 2016, 16:30 to 19:00, in the streets of San Jose

Result

We were 6 singers performing an improvisation of Costa Rican sounds and words in a moving way.
